Integrated with existing Brightree soft- ware, these new software tools provide a patient-centric experience and build trust, save staff time, and improve coordina- tion of care from referral to collections for home medical equipment (HME), phar- macy, and home infusion providers.
With Brightree Digital Experience, providers can send automated commu- nications with their patients without relying on manual methods like faxing, mailing, or calling. From welcome texts
to appointment reminders and more, the texting orchestrator allows patients to stay connected via SMS. eForms seamlessly integrates with the texting orchestrator and the Brightree system to collect digital signatures and completed forms from patients on their device of choice. When more personalized communication is needed, patients can video chat with their care teams to ask questions about their therapies, explain problems or resolve any potential issues with equipment quickly. Brightree is streamlining communication, fostering collaboration, improving patient engagement, and optimizing care coor- dination, significantly reducing staff time spent on manual tasks.

TeleRespiratory is the delivery of respira- tory therapy using telecommunications technologies without a respiratory therapist physically present at the point of care. Encore’s team of Respiratory Navigators aim to create a patient experi- ence that helps them manage their respi- ratory care, from the comfort of their own home. Encore’s TeleRespiratory Center stays connected to patients and receives early detection of changes in symptom severity and enables earlier identification of need for advanced therapies (such as medications, ventilation and HFCWO). Additionally, Encore’s TeleRespiratory Services improve patient follow-up visits, while documenting in-home issues and decreasing hospital admissions.
DMEPOS Retailer Certification
The Compliance Team

(215) 654-9110
DMEPOS Certification for Non-Medicare Online Mail Order Providers is The Compliance Team’s (TCT) newest certification program, set up as a quality assurance program for online DMEPOS suppliers who are not billing Medicare.
As one of the original DMEPOS CME-approved accreditation organizations (deemed in 2006), TCT recognized a poten- tial gap in quality and sought to provide oversight to DMEPOS suppliers serving patients through online web stores. This new certification program helps standardize quality processes at the DMEPOS organiza- tion and ensures safety for their patients.
Certification acts as quality valida-
tion to the company’s online and mail order customers that the supplier has been certified by an independent, third party. DMEPOS certification differs from DMEPOS accreditation in that certification covers only those aspects of the busi-
ness that are directly related to intake and delivery. Certification is for two years, while accreditation is a three-year program.
