Nomad Biometrics App

Knowing many patients now utilize wearables and other biometric devices, Belluscura developed the Nomad Biometrics App to let patients connect their X-PLOR to an app on their iPhone or Android phone that further connects with other Bluetooth devices, such as their Samsung watch, Apple Watch, Nonin or Masimo pulse oximeters, and Fitbit wearables.
Now, patients can track their breath rate, oxygen usage (hours used), pulse volume, battery life, and alarm history. Additionally, they now have the ability to input spirometer and pulse oximeter data on a single mobile app on their phone. The patient can then share this important healthcare data with their healthcare provider or caregiver.
“Telemonitoring of home oxygen therapy is the present, not the future,” says Patrick Strollo, Jr, MD, pulmonologist and non-executive director of Belluscura. “The ability to connect to wearable biometric devices will help improve patient care.”

OxySafe2 is a thermal fuse designed to stop the flow of gas in the event that the
downstream cannula or supply tube is ignited, and will meet VA, ISO and other regulatory requirements.
With OxySafe2, the PVC tube is inclined to extinguish because PVC
will not normally burn in air — offering healthcare providers a cost-effective solution to lower the risk of serious patient injury in a dangerous oxygen fire.
OxySafe2 is the new and improved version of the original OxySafe bi-direc- tional device. The new design is smaller, lighter and has a 25 percent longer shelf life.

The Next-Gen X-PLOR is what its maker Belluscura calls an Airgonomically designed unit with Bluetooth capability that delivers more oxygen per pound than other units in its class. It weighs only 3.75 pounds; light enough to easily transport anywhere.
A primary feature is the Nomad Health App that will connect the POC via Bluetooth with phones, tablets, pulse oximeters and wearables. The patient can then share this important healthcare data with their provider. (Read more under “Remote Health Solutions & Services”).
The device’s No Breath Detected (NBD) mode is a battery-saving mode that runs for three minutes on 750 ml/min Continuous Flow then shuts unit down if left on while not in use. Breath-detection technology delivers oxygen when users breathe in, and the unit will notify them if no breath is detected.
Other features:
• Belluscura’s patented, award-winning
ModulAir Design technology.
