Ultimately, HME providers are problem solvers. They must source perfectly matched products to help an array
of patients successfully manage their health and therapy, live independent- ly, and enjoy life. And sitting at the heart of that critical role are products, whether those products are the actual medical equipment or the tools that help HME businesses provide top-tier care and services.
That’s why, for the past seven years, HME Business conducts its annual New Product Awards competition. And this year’s competition was big. We had 22 winning products across 21 different categories ranging from software to sleep, respiratory to retail, and access to accreditation — plus much, much more. Also, this year, we saw some new names added to the mix, which proves that HME continues to be a vibrant, growing marketplace.
Most importantly, this is a provider- judged competition. While HMEB organizes the program, each year, a blind panel of providers from a variety of backgrounds and with diverse specialties shares its expertise in reviewing and scoring the entries.
