Easy Parking Entry and Exit
STid is introducing its new multi-technology reader, SPECTRE nano, accelerates parking ac- cess control and enables simultaneous vehicle/ driver ID to keep employees, visitors and motor- ized traffic moving. The contactless technologies allow drivers and vehicles to be identified by wind- shield tags, electronic badges or smartphones. Its ultra-compact size and technological innova- tions offer new perspectives for vehicle access control. SPECTRE Nano combines Bluetooth® and UHF technologies for dual identification: the driver and the vehicle. The system supports single-lane vehicle access (up to 6m [convert to 19.7 feet?]) for employee cars, and visitors can access with a badge or even their smartphone with integration of the STid Mobile ID® ecosystem.
Facial Recognition Authentication
Maxxess has added advanced facial recognition authentication to its eVisitor visitor management solution for access control, with off-the-shelf integration to RealNetworks’ industry-leading SAFR® technology. Maxxess eVisitor has estab- lished itself as a flexible, secure visitor manage- ment solutions available, with frictionless and touchless access, removing many of the old inconveniences visitors, staff, and contractors encountered to access premises, workspaces, guest Wi-Fi and corporate networks, as well as facilitate hassle-free time and attendance. Maxxess eVisitor is used widely in commercial, hospitality, healthcare, universities and mixed- use developments, with a range of edge devices such as facial readers, video intercoms and ki- osks, allowing visitors to enter secure areas.
The New Roughneck
Vicon’s Roughneck Fisheye Camera is a 360° IP dome camera that provides a high-resolution, hemispherical view that eliminates blind spots and improves long-term reliability. This NDAA/ GSA/TAA compliant camera is a vandal-proof 360-degree dome camera that can be mounted on a ceiling or wall and is suitable for both out- door and indoor applications. This 12MP hemi- spheric camera provides 360-degree coverage for both indoor and outdoor applications. Some of the key features include 12 MP, J.265/H.264 compression; M-JPEG compression and a built-in traditional fisheye lens for 180° panoramic view and 360° surround view. Other features include true WDR, triple streaming and NDAA/GSA/TAA compliant. The camera is IP67 and IK10 rated.

Telaeris Inc. announces new Edge Access Con- trol XPIR Series of Fixed and Kiosk Identification Readers for any Workplace Entrance Intelligent XPIR series readers can analyse access per- missions and grant entry based on multi-factor biometric and RFID credentials, uniquely display identity information on record, and synchronize data with the access control system. XPressEn- try integrates with most physical access control systems (PACS) and synchronizes all relevant information such as enrolled users, badges, pic- tures, facial and fingerprint biometrics, access levels, areas and entry/exit activities. . XPIR de- vices maintain connectivity to the access control system via cellular, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and continue to work offline when the network is unavailable.
