CORPORATE PROFILES
COMPANY INTRODUCTION
Lewellyn is the industry leader in electrical and combustible dust safety solutions that has helped thousands of companies realize a best-in-class safe, healthy, and productive workplace since 1993.
Safety is Lewellyn’s core business. With a national network of in-house engineers, technicians, and safety consultants, we provide a one-stop shop for your electrical and combustible dust safety needs. We are the safety solutions provider to many For- tune 1000 companies because we are uniquely suited to serve firms with multiple sites and a national footprint.
The total cost of safety continues to rise and workplaces that have safety prob- lems have lower productivity, lower em- ployee morale, and higher absenteeism. Workplace safety is a key enabler of op- erational excellence. You need a trust- ed and reliable partner that can provide a comprehensive and best-in-class ap- proach to workplace safety. Let our team of electrical and combustible dust safety experts help you protect your most im- portant assets: your employees, facili- ties, and financial interests.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY SERVICES
Lewellyn conducts risk assessments in facilities to find electrical hazards and recom- mends solutions to help mitigate them, including arc flash risk analysis, arc flash la- beling, infrared thermography, lockout/tagout, electrical safety training/worker quali- fication programs, job safety plans and job briefings, preventive maintenance, among others. Lewellyn also develops comprehensive electrical safety programs, conducts electrical safety audits, and provides a wide range of electrical safety training.
COMBUSTIBLE DUST SERVICES
Combustible dust has only recently become one of the main concern areas in safety and health, particularly after several high-profile accidents/fatalities and increased en- forcement of combustible dust hazards by authorities having Jurisdiction (OSHA, insur- ance carriers, etc.). Lewellyn conducts dust testing and dust hazards analysis (DHAs) in facilities to find dust hazards and recommends solutions to help mitigate them, including engineering and administrative controls, design reviews, among others.
THE FUTURE OF THE COMPANY
Lewellyn developed a field data collection application that has not only improved project cycle times, but also made communications simpler and more effective be- tween the team of field technicians, engineers, and customers. Lewellyn is currently developing an application that provides a central point of visibility and control for all electrical safety assets and activities across organizations. The application will provide a holistic view of workplace safety projects, increasing information visibility that can help reduce compliance and operational risks. This is vital for productivity, particularly for large firms with dispersed operations.
Lewellyn is well positioned to effectively support companies with their compliance and operational risk management needs, with a particular focus on the safety and well being of employees, and productivity.
