DKS Goes Above and Beyond the Parking Safety Standards
for Both Vehicles and Pedestrians
In today’s busy world people often forget to pay
attention to their surroundings, placing themselves
in harm’s way. DKS 1601, 1602, and 1603 Barrier
Operators offer five features to help.
1. DKS Pedestrian Detection System
It knows when it’s safe to allow the Barrier Arm to
come down — or not. If a person is detected the
Barrier Arm reverses.
2. Warning Beeper
Beeps 2 times before lowering Arm for those times
when the driver or pedestrian is not looking.
3. Lighted Signal Arms
Red LEDs glow when Arm is lowered sending a clear signal
for drivers to stop. When raised the LEDs transition to green
— easily alerting drivers when to pull forward.
4. Breakaway Arm Option
Reduces maintenance costs by allowing the Arm to swing
out of the way in the event that a vehicle fails to stop. The
System is easily reset by simply snapping the Arm back
into place.
5. Reverse Edge Sensor
Senses any contact, reversing the Arm to minimize
damage or injury.
