Electronic Lock

The electronic lock features a re-engineered clutch system design that makes efficient use of energy, dropping consumption to low levels resulting in 110,000 cycles with just one set of batteries. The NEO Cylinder is compatible with several of the com- pany’s software options, including SALTO SVN, SALTO BLUEnet Wireless and SALTO KS Keys as a Service cloud-based technology. The NEO can be switched to any of SALTO’s platforms at any time without chang- ing the hardware. In addition, the company continues to release the latest versions of its access control management software, ProAccess SPACE.

GeoView Mapping

The GeoView capa- bility allows users to see the current status for all locations and installations instantly in a wide-area satellite map. Users can drill down into each location for real-time alarm, health and system monitoring and control, with GeoView showing the exact zone and location on alarm or alert. GeoView lets dealers offere different levels of managed services while the end-user interacts consistently with the solution. Us- ers can view and control equipment by clicking on icons of cameras, sensors, doors and more. Overlay interior floor plans provide easy reference of equip- ment locations along with viewing and control.

Wi-Fi Smart Lock
Kwikset has added to its family of Wi-Fi enabled Smart Locks with the introduction of the Halo Touch Wi-Fi Smart Lock. The lock comes with the abil- ity to program and store up to 100 fingerprints for 50 users that ensure people can access buildings with one-touch fingerprint locking and unlocking. Through the Kwikset app, users can remote moni- tor and control their Halo Touch smart lock from any location as long as they are connected to the internet. With the ability to lock and unlock, manage user codes, view lock activity, receive lock notifica- tions and much more, Halo Touch offers many ways to customize security and ensure that only autho- rized users have access. The product eliminates the need for a third-party hub, panel or subscrip- tion service.

Access Control Power System
LifeSafety Power delivered a comprehensive design update with enhanced features and capa- bilities to its flagship access control power supply line: FlexPower FPO Generation 2 (Gen2). Gen2 adds new features like OutSmart visual voltage indication across all boards, visuall showing the technician the output voltage of the power supply boards and each distributed output. Optional RS- 485 capability on FPO and M8 devices allow larger managed systems on fewer network drops with the new NLX NetLink module. Added data points such as AC input voltage and main output current and output cycle counts on the M8 give a better view of overall system health. The update began rolling out in 2019 and will be complete in Q2 2020.

Vertical Wall Cabinets
Video Mount Products announced the launch of two new low profile vertical wall cabinets ahead of the postponed ISC West conference in Las Vegas. The two new enclosures have been designed to securely mount EIA standard rack equipment in an out-of-the-way location such as a back office, closet or anywhere that needs a clean, organized way to secure equipment in a location accessible to many. The ERVWC-5U20 and ERVWC-5U36 both have 150 lb. weight capacities. Both products fea- ture cable management punch outs, ventilation and a dedicated location for mounting of a patch panel in addition to available rack units. Mounting rails are reversible and feature threaded screw hole options for both 12-24 and 6 mm mounting preferences.
