Floodlight Security
Swann has launched its WiFi-enabled Floodlight Security System, which the company says is more than just a floodlight or a security camera. The system provides a full HD, 1080p security camera equipped with Swann’s True Detect heat and mo- tion sensing technology. When triggered, the soft- ware switches on two powerful LED floodlights, a loud warning siren and video recording in addi- tion to sending an alert to your mobile device. The 2500-lumen floodlights aim to startle intruders and capture vivid HD video during the day and night, as intruders and thieves can come at any time of day. Customers can also configure and customize the light brightness, siren and audio loudness and turn the system on and off from a mobile device. Users can also store video clips with audio and upload them to a secure cloud in order to share with law enforcement officers.

Machine Identity Protection
Venafi will now offer the machine identity pro- tection’s first no-outage guarantee with its Venafi Platform. The VIA Venafi No Outages Guarantee completely eliminates certificate-related outages, according to the company. The offer will blend the power of its platform with the experience of trained experts to deliver a specific path for customers to prevent site and service outages due to certificate issues. If a customer has an outage that directly re- sults from an expired or mis-configured certificate, and the certificate was configured and protected in compliance with Venafi, the company will work to investigate the failure, perform a root cause analy- sis and specify the actions needed to remediate the problem. Customers can also request a progress assessment from Venafi experts at no cost.

Virtual Security Operations
Pivot3 announced the release of its Virtual Security Operations Center, designed to address the need for security teams to access client workstations running video surveillance and other systems in multiple locations. With the system, security teams can now get fully functional security workstation capabilities, including video surveillance, access control and PSIM, on more devices with higher cost efficiency. The system replaces expensive graph- ics-enabled workstations with flexible, secure thin- and zero-clients, reducing upfront equipment costs and ongoing maintenance expenses. Video data is stored in the Virtual SOC’s central storage system as an encrypted desktop image is streamed to the remote device. The system enables security to share video with outside organizations in a secure and bandwidth-efficient fashion. The product works with any video management software.
