Key Security System
Morse Watchmans recently introduced Key- Watcher Fleet. a key security system with software designed from the ground up for fleet manage- ment applications. KeyWatcher Fleet puts users in command of vehicle distribution, comprehensive utilization, right-sizing of a fleet and more. The software allows fleet managers to create user role- based “Pools”, or groups of vehicles, to assign each vehicle accordingly. Flexible booking workflows en- able customization to balance usage, ensure vehi- cle availability, and more. Multiple service features make it possible to report problems and automati- cally initiate new or scheduled work on each ve- hicle. System alerts notify management to specific issues such as an unauthorized booking attempt or expiring driver’s license, and the system generates a number of useful reports with actionable insights.

Communications Software
Maxxess Systems announces the company’s newly designed Ambit Event Management Com- munications Software. Ambit provides security management and first responders with real-time “human intelligence” via users’ smartphone and tablets, along with a host of remote access control and geo-tracking capabilities, enabling better man- agement of daily operations and potentially threat- ening events. By integrating with a facility’s access control system, Ambit can unlock doors manually or allow messages to be broadcast to all users, select groups or individuals, with the ability for designated users in the field to also send mass notifications. Users can also request location tracking to help security and first responders respond to incidents more quickly and accurately.

Access Control Improvements
Sielox LLC introduced new enhancements to its Pinnacle v.10.4 Access Control Platform. New functionality allows users to seamlessly access the features of Allegion’s Schlage Engage Wi-Fi locks enabling them to be easily integrated with Pinnacle Schlage Wi-Fi access platform feature. Additionally, Allegion Schlage wireless locks can now receive firmware updates through Sielox’s 1700 controller using Allegion ONR technology. Pinnacle v.10.4 pro- vides integration with Allegion Schlage NDE and LE wireless locks so they can be incorporated as part of a facility’s overall access control system using existing Wi-Fi infrastructure. Sielox has also added a new Transport Layer Security to TLS. TLS/SSL operates by establishing an encrypted communica- tion path between two applications, “wrapping” the entire application protocol inside the secure link.

Visitor Management Kiosk
SilverShield Safety & Information Systems intro- duces their new Self-Service Visitor Management Kiosk. The kiosk is integrated with the SilverShield Visitor and Incident Management System to en- able unmanned registration for visitors and guests. Visitors can self-register with the SilverShield Ki- osk (SS Kiosk) using a Mac or PC computer, iOS or Android device. Users enter their credentials manually, scan their valid IDs, or scan a SilverShield Quick Badge. Once a visitor’s details are entered, SS Kiosk notifies a Kiosk Monitor that a visitor has completed check-in; they can then initiate access or deny access. If a visitor’s details are matched with any watchlist or sex offender entry, the Kiosk Monitor may initiate silent alert notifications to any stakeholders the organization chooses.

Interlock Controllers
Dortronics announces its new enhanced 4800 Series Intelligent Interlock Controllers. The 4800 Series Door Interlock Controller accommodates up to five doors, including doors with automatic open- ers. The unit features adjustable timers for propped door time, panic release unlock time, and unlock pause time for REX unlock time. Additional features include 12 inputs for door status, request for ac- cess, interlock override and emergency unlock. The unit’s 17 outputs control door locks (fail-safe or fail-secure), traffic lights and mirror door status with alarm outputs. Additional features include a watchdog circuit to monitor operation, LED input/ output status indication and voltage spike/surge protection. The 4800 Series is available as a con- troller board only or with a 4-amp Class 2 UL 294 power supply.

Facial Recognition
Intelligent Security Systems announced the SecurOS FaceX facial recognition solution. FaceX delivers the unique capability to accurately rec- ognize individuals’ faces from different camera angles with a host of specific facial characteristics under various lighting conditions. The new native analytics solution is built on the basis of ISS’ re- cently enhanced SecurOS v.10 Video Management System (VMS) platform, embedding all of FaceX’s functionality including the ability to add and import files, perform searches and more. FaceX compares captured images against databases of known in- dividuals, or faces captured from video streams. Searches can also be conducted by specific facial features against multiple watchlists and a virtually unlimited database of facial images.
