Key Cabinet
MedixSafe brings to market two offerings ideally suited to museum and art gallery security: The Key Care Cabinet and KARE—a Key Access Ready En- closure. Rare and expensive paintings, sculptures, artifacts and other precious art pieces locked in glass display cases can be more effectively safe- guarded from theft, both externally and internally, with a MedixSafe key control solution. The Key Care Cabinet is accessible via a remote Ethernet network. It has a manual key override, to the cabi- net can still be accessed via a single authorized key in the event of an electronic failure.

Shielded Connectors
Platinum Tools launched their new ezEX-RJ45 shielded connectors. They are designed for larger cables and conductors. They feature a unique in- tegrated Hi-Lo stagger load bar and allows “big” conductors to pass through the front end of the con- nector, making it easy to verify the wiring sequence before terminating. These connectors are typically used with either CAT6 CAT6A and are terminated with EXO Crimp Frame and EXO-EX Die (100061C). Additional features include hi-lo stagger to isolate each conductor, simple one piece/pass through de- sign and a solid or stranded 24-22 AWG.

Siklu announced the EtherHaul 8010FX (EH- 8010FX). With 10 Gigabits per second (Gbps) full duplex capacity, and operating over the interfer- ence free 70/80GHz E-band spectrum, the new EtherHaul 8010FX provides a reliable fiber exten- sion solution where fiber exists, and greenfield Gigabit connectivity. The main features are: 10Gbps full-duplex Point to Point (PtP) operation in the light- ly licensed 71-76 / 81-86GHz band, with multiple 2000MHz channels, support for both optical and copper 10GbE interfaces, and a selection of half- foot, one foot or two foot antennas.
