A second announcement signed by Etac CEO Michael Wirzberger and Ki Mobility President Munsey added

so please continue to place orders, interact with sales personnel, and communicate with our organization in the same manner as you always have.”
Munsey, who founded Ki Mobility with Murray Slagerman in 2005, will now head “a dedicated mobility organization for sales and customer service of our
Ki Mobility, Convaid, R82, and Star products in North America.”
Wirzberger said, “Our vision is to become a global leader within Complex Manual Rehab Technology and patient handling, and the acquisition of Ki Mobility is an important step in that direction.”
“We are very pleased to be joining the Etac family,” Munsey said. “We have a common passion for creating possibilities for individuals in need of Complex Rehab Technology, and I look forward to continuing the development of Ki Mobility products within Etac and to combine and leverage our strengths in Etac’s new North American mobility organization.”
Etac’s portfolio includes the Etac, R82, Convaid, Molift, Immedia, and Star product brands, covering pediatric wheelchairs, seating, standing, walking, toileting/ bathing and car seats; pressure management, including wheelchair seat cushions; bathroom aids; patient handling; and small aids for daily living.
In the United States, Etac is headquartered in Torrance, Calif. In September, Etac launched a new, unified
Web site that “reflects our corporate rebranding from Convaid|R82 to Etac.” m
