National Seating & Mobility Acquires Travis Medical
National Seating & Mobility (NSM) has acquired Travis Medical, the Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) provider based in Austin, Texas, with 27 locations in the United States.
An Oct. 1 news announcement noted that the acquisi- tion makes NSM “the largest and only collective provider of complete mobility solutions, from CRT and accessibility to service and supplies, nationwide.”
Established in 1989 by the Yule family, Travis Medical serves 23 markets in Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and the Pacific Northwest; 11 of those markets are new to NSM.
The Transition Process
The acquisition includes Travis Cares, the Travis Medical
division devoted to educational events.
More than 270 Travis Medical staffers will be transi-
tioning to NSM.
