She added that there’s a big need for CRT resources among Spanish-speaking clinicians: “Many people starting in the CRT world don’t have any idea of where to go. So to have this place where we can share the resources, and of course many of them in Spanish, is going to be a huge advantage for them.”
Solórzano added that having local resources is also valuable: “Being able to share clinical cases from Latin America is, I think, going to be very nice for the clini- cians, to see the clinical cases that are not only from so far away. There are also resources from my country. From my region, there are people sharing information.”
Education in Motion is free to access, with no registra- tion required. Sunrise is intentionally making this library as easy as possible for clinicians, and ATPs, too, to access.
“We’re driven by those clients that have successful outcomes, and we’re saddened by things that fail,” Bjornson said. “But why did they fail? If they’d just known this and this.... So we’re driven by the fact that if people have more skills and more knowledge, we’re going
to have better outcomes. I think it’s fantastic that this resource is going to be available. There’s going to be applicable materials, whether you’re talking about a
diagnostic standpoint — I’ve never dealt with somebody with ALS before, or I’ve never done a mat assessment. We can give them some really great resources across media — videos, case studies, diagrams.
“We don’t want them to have to read a book; there are books out there. We want these to be little vignettes, little nuggets they can take then and there and make useful. When you think we can also have this across languages and funding agencies, it becomes really powerful.” m
