eFutureSafe Anchorage System
The newest member of the AMF- Bruns of America family of vehicle solutions is the eFutureSafe Head & Backrest/Seatbelt Anchorage system, which allows customized head, back and neck adjustments. No more twisting and turning for maximum relief! The patented design of the eFutureSafe can withstand 15G
rear collision forces and 20G frontal
collisions. eFutureSafe is easy to install, move and clean. When it’s not in use, it can be turned inward toward the vehicle wall to save space inside the vehicle. The system can be side mounted or oor mounted, and it’s compatible with AMF-Bruns restraint systems. It’s a system that gets wheelchair users back on the road in comfort and safety.

Flamingo
The Flamingo toilet/bathing chair comes in four siz- es to accommodate clients from childhood through young adulthood. The seat tilts, and the Flamingo’s back can be angled to achieve the ideal seating and posture during hygiene activities. Flamingo’s adjustable height enables it to be placed over
a toilet — or use a pan instead. Accessories include a head support, a push brace to maneuver the unit, sides that provide moderate torso control and positioning, and swing-away side supports. The seat is now also available in blue in addition to standard gray. The largest size (size 4) has a 154-lb. weight capacity.

QLK-150 for WHILL
i-Drive Loonz Game
Seating and mobility
clinicians and ATPs know
that the rst step toward
making a child successful at
power wheelchair
operation is usually getting
Mom and Dad on board.
While multiple studies have
shown that independent
mobility is crucial for social,
emotional, physical and
cognitive development in
infants and toddlers,
anxious parents often
worry about putting their
little ones into power chairs
that weigh hundreds of
pounds — meaning that
an assessment can be doomed before it begins.
Stealth Products’ new Loonz video game o ers a new, family-friendly approach. Operated via Stealth’s i-Drive alternative driving controls system, Loonz — starring an elephant named Tiki in his hot air balloon — evaluates a child’s ability to use electronics controls without needing to sit the child in a power chair. Loonz can be operated using a standard joystick, as well as a number of alternative driving controls, including a head array, sip and pu , or mini joystick. As the child moves through the levels of Loonz to gather the game’s “coins,” therapists and ATPs can get feedback showing how e ciently the child is using the driving control. Loonz is a free, downloadable app that can be used to assess power chair readiness or to teach power chair skills before a child actually gets into that power chair.
