Polaris GEM introduces eight unique application packages to help college and universities quickly acquire vehicles built for specific campus jobs and ready for use upon delivery. Packages include Maintenance and Repair, Construction, Technician, Delivery, Shuttles and Tours, Public Safety, and Housekeeping and Grounds. Each package offers distinctive features and cool weather additions and can be further customized to fit any application or job. All GEM vehicles are street legal and 100 percent electric
to promote safety and sustainability across campuses.
Judges’ comments: Customized packages for various campus functions is an inspired of- fering. On top of sustainability and street-legal status, vehicles outfitted for specific tasks is a winning feature.

Color Play + Techtonic

Tarkett
The Color Play Collection + Techtonic is
an LVT flooring product created by Tandus Centiva for Tarkett. Based on Tarkett’s latest design research in education and healthcare spaces, the Color Play palette is digitally printed and includes 24 hues in each of three patterns, for a total of 72 product solutions. Techtonic is a state-of-the-art protection that delivers unmatched durability in high traffic areas. This new polyurethane technology resists scratching, abrasions, scuffing, and staining, ensuring that floors look nicer, longer.
Judges’ Comments: Nice versatile designs. High durability on many levels. Low mainte- nance a plus.

Just like the intricate stitching of a hand-tailored suit, careful detailing makes a space feel special, intentional, and tailored. Featuring 162 possible combinations in its palette and patterns, this collection combines inven- tive design with sustainability using the company’s ethos Modular with Omnicoat Technology backing.
Judges’ Comments: The number of poten- tial combinations in its palette and patterns and the sustainable backing that allows for easy installation made this a winner.

There were more than 25 entries in 17 categories (several entered in multiple categories).
