Quickie 2
Sunrise Medical’s new
Quickie 2 has shed 2
lbs. from its 7000-series
aerospace aluminum
frame, making it Quickie’s
lightest folding model to
date. The stronger frame
results in an increased
weight capacity of 300
lbs. standard, and 350
lbs. for the heavy-duty
version. The new Quickie 2 also features a versatile axle plate and modern wheels, caster housing and upholstery. Its adjustable cross brace trans- lates into more than a thousand component configurations. Push handles are adjustable, and Q-Fit technology ensures a tighter component fit. Options include a hemi frame depth adjustable back, an angle-ad- justable back and the Quickie Xtender power-assist system — not to mention 28 color choices. Lite and High-Performance Quickie 2 versions are also available.

12" iLevel
Consumer feedback has led to an enhancement to the popular iLevel adjustable seat height technology available on Quantum Rehab’s Q6 Edge
2.0 power wheelchair base. Starting May
1, iLevel will feature 12" of vertical lift, which is 2" higher than previously available. The additional height will elevate most iLevel clients to between 5'6" and 5'8" to be closer to average adult height, and is expected therefore to further improve environmental access. Extra Stability Technology mechanically stabilizes the Edge power base while its user is
elevated to enable the chair to be driven over varied terrains at up to 3.5 mph. Additionally, LED headlights and taillights in the fenders will now be standard when iLevel is ordered to enhance its user’s visibility outdoors.

Custom Cushion 2
Ride’s popular Custom
Cushion has combined
with advanced Ride-
Works scanning/ordering
technology to produce
the Ride Custom Cushion
2 — offering all the skin
and postural care of its
predecessor in a lighter,
more comfortable and simpler design. An intuitive and accurate process enables shapes to be quickly scanned then sent with photos and order information through a secure, encrypted iOS app. The result is a cushion made specifically to match its user’s unique shape and that helps to decrease long-term skin risk while improving sitting stability. The light- weight Custom Cushion 2 is about 1.8 lbs. (for an average 16x16" size) and features a softer base. Upgrade the standard cushion with Soft Fit options of two or three layers of spacer mesh fabric. The included Ride CAM wedges can be used to adjust cushion contours to accommodate weight change, tissue atrophy and postural changes. Optional well inserts can be added to support bony prominences and to support microclimate management.
