PROTEAM
From Upright to Backpack:
the ProTeam Cordless Advantage
26 SCHOOL PLANNING & MANAGEMENT / JANUARY/FEBRUARY 2019 WEBSPM.COM
PROTEAM HAS BEEN CREATING FreeFlex Cordless/Corded Upright
innovative vacuums since 1987
when the original lightweight backpack vacuum changed the game for custodians. Today, cordless vacuums are changing the game again with improved safety, productivity, and ease-of-use. The GoFree Flex Pro cordless backpack vacuum and the new FreeFlex cordless/corded convertible upright vacuum bring a host
of benefits to cleaning programs. Many of those benefits are due to removing the cord itself.
Ten Benefits of Cordless Vacuums:
• Cordless vacuums clean 30 percent faster than their corded counterparts.
• Custodians can go further than a 50-foot extension cord allows.
• Cordless vacuums eliminate backtracking to unplug and move the cord to the next outlet.
• The custodian no longer has to constantly reposition the cord to prevent it catching or tangling.
• Cordless vacuums eliminate the risk of cords soiling or damaging walls, base- boards, and furniture.
• Cordless equipment leads to savings from reduced cord replacements.
• Cordless vacuums eliminate cord abuse like tying extension cords together or using damaged cords.
• Without the cord, it is much easier to maneuver areas with obstacles.
• A cordless vacuum can clean in areas with limited or no outlets.
• Cordless equipment removes the potential tripping hazard of a cord, making custodi- ans and building occupants safer.
Coming in early 2019, the FreeFlex cordless/corded upright vacuum provides
an approximate 72-minute runtime with the option to plug in for ongoing cleaning. When on battery power, the FreeFlex improves pro- ductivity by 30 percent compared to a corded upright. Weighing approximately 17.6 pounds with battery and 13.9 pounds on corded power, the FreeFlex sets a new standard for lightweight upright innovation.
A light-up animated dashboard shows when the vacuum is operating normally and alerts the user to a brush roll jam. Battery charge indicator allows the custodian to check their charge status. Battery takes 108 minutes to bring back to full charge. When connected to power cord, the FreeFlex can run on high or low power.
With no tools required to assemble, the FreeFlex upright is ready to use out of the box. Its intuitive design makes it simple and easy for any user to operate effectively without training. The high-performance FreeFlex upright is made from commercial grade materi- als. The vacuum’s high-density foamed rubber body is durable for daily wear and tear. The FreeFlex comes backed by a two-year warranty on motor, battery, and charger, three-year war- ranty on parts and labor, and a limited lifetime warranty on molded body parts.
GoFree Flex Pro Cordless Backpack
The GoFree Flex Pro cordless backpack
is one of the lightest battery backpacks on the market with an approximate 75-minute runtime. It supercharges productivity, clean- ing 30 percent faster than a corded backpack and five times faster than a corded upright vacuum. Durable, reliable, and more comfort-
able than ever, the GoFree Flex Pro provides ultimate cleaning freedom.
The enhanced GoFree Flex Pro includes an upgraded FlexFit Articulating Harness. Thicker back and shoulder pads create more comfort- able contact points, so cleaners can vacuum longer with greater comfort. Easy adjustments allow for an ergonomic fit on a wide range of body types. An advanced ProLevel Filtration system with HEPA media filters captures and contains allergens and asthma triggers.
Suited to challenging environments, the GoFree Flex Pro cordless backpack vacuum cleans around obstacles and in stairwells and high places. In high-traffic areas or 24-hour facilities, the GoFree Flex Pro can move among building occupants without presenting a tripping hazard. Running at only 63.7 decibels, it cleans without disturbing conversations nearby. SPM
