ISC West Offers Great Look at Strong Security Industry
  I’ve been attending ISC West in Las Vegas since I joined the Security To- day team all the way back in 2006. It’s a great way to start the year off with a bang and see first-hand what is mak- ing waves in the security industry.
And the 2024 show that wrapped up in early April was by far the best yet. Bouncing back from the COVID-19 pandemic, more than 29,000 security industry professionals made their way to the The Venetian Expo.
While walking the floor to meet with a wide variety of professional throughout the industry, I was pleased to see that the floor was full of people all day taking a look at some of what the more than 750 exhibitors were showing off.
The event also hosted more than 110 education sessions and 220 speakers.
Along with a trio of strong keynotes, one of my favorite events was the AI Discovery Zone. Anyone who stopped by could see first-hand the power of technology with real-world advancements in artificial intelligence and security.
After hours, one of the highlights of the event was a great concert by Grammy-
