NEW PRODUCTS PTS Pro Crimp Tool Now Shipping Platinum Tools® is pleased to announce its new PTS Pro Crimp Tool (p/n 12520C) is now ship- ping. “Platinum Tools’ new PTS (Pass Through Standard) Pro Crimp Tool takes years of Platinum Tools innovations and combines multiple tools into one sleek design. The PTS Pro allows for the termination of both ezEX-RJ45 connectors and the legacy EZ-RJ45 connectors in a single tool with no part changes. This is a single tool for all Platinum Tools terminations. The tool uses a slid- ing plate to change between the different types of connectors and a captive thumb screw to make swapping between connector styles seamless. 570 Series of Industrial Ethernet Switches AMG Systems introduces the AMG 570 series of 11-port industrially hardened Layer 2+ Ether- net switches with PoE for applications requiring up to 90 Watts of operating power. The AMG570 Series offers Layer 2 network management with additional Layer 3 capabilities, such as DHCP and static routing. Models with up to 90W of energy can power a multitude of devices including out- door PTZ cameras with heater/blower capabilities, large multi-sensor cameras, PoE Lighting, Wireless Access Points, and Access Control products. The AMG 570 series features 8 Gigabit TX ports and 3 SFP ports that can transport 100Mbps, 1Gbps, and 2.5Gbps Ethernet with available AMG SFP modules.
