NEW PRODUCTS Autonomous Video Anomaly Detection Active Intelligence introduces the company’s flagship Autonomous Video Anomaly Detection solution, ASTRATM. With the unique ability to detect anomalous activity in virtually any video feed, ASTRA effectively redefines how security professionals can implement intelligent analyt- ics for a virtually unlimited number of security, safety, compliance and commercial/industrial applications across the enterprise. In addition to demonstrating ASTRA’s unique anomaly detec- tion ability, Active Intelligence integrates with VMS systems from Milestone (XProtect), Qognify (Ocularis), and Genetec (Security Center). Offi- cially launched a few months ago, ASTRA con- tinues to capture global attention with its unique ability to detect both known and unknown threats by finding statistical anomalies in video feeds. Cost-effective Situational Awareness Solutions Altronix announces the new OA2 Occupancy Alert System, a welcome addition to the company’s growing product portfolio, the OA2 supplies noti- fications when unauthorized activity or loitering occurs in up to two protected areas. New Initiatives, Gunshot Detection Solutions Shooter Detection Systems announces the latest developments in Active Shooter IntelligenceTM and the company’s latest technology innovations sched- uled for release over the course of 2023. One of the latest developments SDS offers is an advanced emergency response solution that enhances situ- ationalawarenessforfirstrespondersduringactive shooter incidents. The solution goes beyond E911 by using the Noon light platform to hasten the con- tinuous transmission of shot location information to law enforcement responding to the event. The solution also enables the 911 call taker, respond- ing officers, onsite security and building managers to communicate and share information in real-time and view critical contextual data, including the building, room and floor location of gunshot events. IoT Security at Enterprise Scale Viakoo has introduced major enhancements to its Device Password Manager (DPM) to enable fast, comprehensive and coordinated management of passwords within IoT devices and their related applications. Unlike other solutions for password management that do not work with IoT devices or do not recognize the tightly coupled relationship between IoT/OT devices and the applications they are tied to, Viakoo DPM can ensure that password changes are made at scale across a fleet of IoT/ OT devices with full repatriation of the entire workflow. DPM also supplies password strength assessment, generation of unique passwords for each device, and ensures that default or easily guessed passwords are not present within the device network. 36 MAY/JUNE 2023 | SECURITY TODAY
