Promoting FORXAI Video Security Solution
Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc. has launched a new campaign to drive awareness of its intelligent video solutions for physical secu- rity. Its superhero theme parallels the hero/vil- lain dynamic, encouraging business owners and physical security teams to think of their compa- nies as communities for which they are the su- perhero and protector. The campaign aims to arm businesses with the tools to protect their assets by inspiring them to ‘suit up for your multiverse’ and ‘stand up against villains,’ using a ‘How-To Guide to Becoming a Video Security Superhero.’ Our technology-driven world has enabled the ability to connect to the people and information we need in our daily lives anytime, anywhere.
License Plate Capture Camera
IDIS has enhanced its line-up of video security solutions with the launch of a new, NDAA-compli- ant license plate capture camera. The IDIS suite enables users accurate capture the license plates of vehicles worldwide traveling up to 50mph (80 km/h). The 2MP DC-T6224HRXL has a detection range of more than 325 yards (100m) in full light and advanced IR to capture flawless images at up to 66 feet (20m). The camera also boasts ana- lytics, including motion detection, active tamper- ing, and trip zones, and can be quickly and easily connected to IDIS DirectIP® NVRs to ensure rapid installation and secure, seamless connectivity. The DC-T6224HRXL is ideal for single-lane traffic monitoring and crime prevention.
Wireless Revolutionizes Retrofit
Adams Rite is expanding its product line with the introduction of the DL100 Wireless Deadlatch – an advanced, aluminum-stile electrified dead- latch with Aperio® wireless technology. Ready for retrofit, renovation or any commercial project with an existing MS® door prep, the DL100 com- bines electrified locking hardware with an access control system in standard aluminum-stile doors. It easily interfaces with other access control el- ements to extend real-time security cost-effec- tively to more openings. The DL100 uses low- energy motorized EcoLatch® actuator technology for silent operation and provides a MultiCLASS SE contactless card reader that supports 125 KHz and 13.56 MHz credentials, with optional support for BLE or NFC Mobile Access.
Linear Optical Technology
Theia’s Linear Optical Technology® will soon be available for larger sensors – up to 1/1.8”. The MY23F 2.3mm lens provides a 116° horizon- tal field of view on a 1/1.8” sensor without the fisheye or barrel distortion of typical wide-angle lenses. The patented distortion correction tech- nology corrects distortion in the image without software, or its inherent latency. Engineered with a metal structure, the new ruggedized lens pro- vides a focus lock mechanism to increase shock and vibration resistance. The fixed iris lens is NIR corrected for hyperspectral imaging & Day/Night cameras. The lens comes in a versatile M12/C mount (MY23F) or a CS (SY23F) mount option. Production units will be available in October.
Benefits of a Crash Beam Barricade
The DSC7090 is a Delta Scientific drop-arm bar- ricade. You can raise or lower the arm as needed. If your car lot sees a lot of traffic, you can raise and lower the beam quickly. If you need to stop a vehicle from getting out of your lot, or from crash- ing into it, the drop-arm lowers in two seconds. It can open up again in five seconds. This fast operation allows approximately 100 vehicles to go in and out per hour. The DSC7090 has a crash rating of M30/P1 according to standards set by the American Society for Testing and Materials. Under the ASTM system, the M-rating refers to the maximum speed at which a barrier is effec- tive at stopping a 15,000-pound vehicle.
