Dual Voltage Access Control Kits
Altronix has launched an enhanced line of eFlowTM power supply/charger kits that provide 12 and 24VDC simultaneously for locking devices and peripherals. These new solutions are equipped with fused, or PTC protected outputs that are in- dividually selectable to provide necessary power for a wide range of access control panels, door locks and ancillary devices. Models also feature bi-color LEDs for instant visual voltage verifica- tion and embedded LINQTM network power man- agement technology, allowing users to control, monitor and report power over individual outputs. The new eFlow power supply/charger kits pro- vide selectable 5VDC, 12VDC and 24VDC outputs. Altronix products are NDAA and TAA compliant, made in the U.S.A. and carry a lifetime warranty.
Control and Compliance for Automated
Nice has announced the release of the Mercury 310 residential gate operator controller, a simple- to-install controller engineered for UL325 com- pliance for automated gate systems. With no pro- gramming required, a simple user interface, and cutting-edge safety features, UL325 compliance has never been simpler. Installers familiar with Nice gate controller will find familiarity in Mer- cury 310, which is as straightforward to install as previous products but now includes new fea- tures. There is an upgrade to existing residential gate controllers as it natively meets the UL325 compliance by including two methods of entrap- ment detection (Type A and Type C). This industry standard exists to protect people and property from powerful and potentially harmful automated gate movement.

Cloud-based Security Systems
Genetec Inc. has announced a new version (v 5.10) of its flagship unified security platform, Security Center. This major new release allows more system components to run in the cloud, reducing the gap between cloud and on-premises security systems. It also makes it easier to connect external systems and tap external data for use in dashboards, maps and investigations without relying on complex, specialized integrations. The new version brings enterprise video surveillance customers new op- tions to facilitate their migration to the cloud as well as support flexible hybrid-cloud architectures. Taking a step further towards unified, enterprise Video-Surveillance-as-a-Service (VSaaS), the new version of Security Center OmnicastTM—the video management system of Security Center—enables the seamless use of tiered cloud and on-premises storage to manage short- and long-term video ar- chives according to customer needs.

The latest evolution in the award-winning REDSCAN LiDAR series, REDSCAN PRO can very accu- rately detect intruders to a range of 165x330ft (50x100m), without any ‘gaps’ in the detection or the reliability ‘fading’ with range. Unmanaged Network Switches
TRENDnet is debuting one of the world’s first 2.5G unmanaged network switches. Expanding its existing portfolio of multi-gigabit network- ing solutions, TRENDnet’s budget-friendly 2.5G unmanaged switches launch with two models. The 8-Port Unmanaged 2.5G Switch (TEG-S380) and the 5-Port Unmanaged 2.5G Switch (TEG- S350) are the latest additions to TRENDnet’s Multi-Gigabit Networking Solutions family. Both switches include 2.5GBASE-T RJ-45 ports, which allow users to achieve up to 2.5Gbps over exist- ing Cat5e (or better) cabling. TRENDnet’s new 2.5G switches are cost-effective means of in- creasing a network’s throughput, and helping to reduce or eliminate network bottlenecks.
