OVER 40 YEARS OF PROTECTING THE THINGS THAT PROTECT YOU
Safety Technology International is a long-time trusted manufacturer of fire, safety and security products that help deter false alarms, prevent theft, and minimize damage to equipment in buildings around the world. For over 40 years STI’s mission is to help reduce building disruption, vandalism, tampering and theft.
STI began by creating protective covers to help stop false fire alarms and guard impor- tant equipment. Headquartered in Waterford, Michigan, with an office in England; they now manufacture protective covers, enclosures, push buttons/switches, alarms, and wire cages. The time-tested and reliable products ensure problems are solved.
Safety and quick reaction time have become a greater concern for schools and universities. STI’s easy-to-use lockdown push buttons allow a user to perform an effective and confident action when needed. The multipurpose buttons are available in six colors, offered with lockdown, emergency or custom labeling, and several switch choices, including weather re- sistant. Numerous protective covers available with or without an alarm for added protection.
Prevent theft and misuse of fire extinguishers with STI’s battery operated alarm. If a protected extinguisher is moved, the device emits an alarm (95/105 dB). Completely self- contained, the device does not interfere with firefighting in any way. Includes symbols and 20 labels to warn in two languages.
False alarms cause unnecessary evacuations and classroom interruptions. Decrease false fire alarm risks with STI’s Universal Stopper® protective polycarbonate cover. The cover fits over manual pull stations and when lifted it flashes and a warning horn sounds locally (does not restrict legitimate alarms from being activated). Immediate attention is drawn to the area before a false alarm is pulled. Offers protection against false alarms, physical damage, dust and grime as well as severe environments.
STI also offers strong and durable wire guards to protect a wide range of exit signs, smoke detectors, clocks, strobes, speakers and more from vandalism and accidental damage.
For over 40 years you can Rely on STI® for covers, cages, alarms and buttons. Find more information on Safety Technology International at www.sti-usa.com/sp447 or call 248- 673-9898.
