Key Control Cabinets
MedixSafe has added Bluetooth format card read- ers to its Key Access Ready Enclosure (KARE) key control cabinets. The wireless technology now al- lows users to access their KARE cabinets using mobile devices as their access credential while still offering a high level of security. The announcement means that KARE is now available in three different technologies, including Bluetooth, HID and Multi- Class format card readers. The product, which gives customers control over their keys by limiting access to authorized users, features a Wiegand output that can be connected to any access control panel. Administrators are notified of who has ac- cessed keys and when. Each cabinet, which comes in three sizes, allow users to use their existing ac- cess cards or phone.

Corporate Security Software
Topo.ai introduced its TopoONE Software, a SaaS platform equipped to provide corporate security teams with third-party alerts, incident manage- ment and analytics in one system. The platform automatically centralizes and prioritizes alerts onto an interactive map with rich contextual data about nearby facilities, personnel, shipments and trav- elers. That data can include traffic reports, street view data, access control alarms, HR systems, webcam feeds and more. In addition, the integrated workflow allows teams to triage alerts with one common methodology, focusing on priority threat signals and reporting. The simplified platform has been in commercial use for more than a year by several corporate security teams, including the healthcare company McKesson.

Secure Connectivity Device
Tosibox is offering the TOSIBOX Lock 500, a high- performance connectivity device that aims to pro- tect, manage, and build new IoT solutions. Designed for industrial environments, the router comes with with its own firewall and has a VPN throughput of 70 Mbps for data consuming applications. Secure nd-to-end encryption is available for up to 50 con- current VPN connections. Integrated WiFi, a built-in LTE modem, dual-SIM slots and the functionality of TosiOnline automatic reconnection of dropped connections are all included as part of the product. Security features include two-factor authentica- tion and secure boot architecture. Users are also required to physically present a secure USB key and know the password for it in order to access the device.

Facial Recognition VMS
Avigilon announced the latest version of its video management software, Avigilon Control Center (ACC) 7.4, incorporating artificial intelligence- powered facial recognition technology. The VMS features a new “appearance alerts” capability that helps commercial organizations accelerate security response times by identifying people of interest in real time. The technology can alert teams when a banned or flagged individual has entered the campus by matching their face with a secure, con- trolled watch list created by authorized users. After a match is made, guards are notified so that they can determine if further investigation or action is necessary. Avigilon says that the data used to train the AI algorithms is thoroughly evaluated to provide high accuracy and consistency.

Rolling Steel Door
CornellCookson announced the release of its EntryDefender Door, the only American-made rolling steel door that meets U.S. Department of State standards for forced entry and ballistic re- sistance of structural systems. The door is de- signed to protect sensitive buildings, including government buildings, cannabis dispensaries and manufacturing facilities, from mob attacks for up to 60 minutes. While the product was developed to protect American embassies from attacks, the company believes that pharmacies, prescription drug storage facilities and cannabis dispensaries can benefit from the expanded security protections provided by the door. Now available from dealers across the U.S., EntryDefender comes in more than 180 SpectraShield powder coating colors.

Critical Communications Solution
Primex announced the release of OneVue Notify, the company’s new visual messaging and critical alert solution. The easy-to-use tool allows admin- istrators and executives to synchronize their criti- cal communications and get messages out quickly during an emergency. Using notification tools called InfoBoards, OneVue can transmit signals up to one- half mile with limited to no interference through the FCC licensing process. OneVue Software can also be integrated with existing communication tools, including PA and paging systems. Customers using previous versions of a 72MHz transmitter can up- grade to a new OneVue transmitter while continu- ing to use their existing clocks. The communica- tions solution can be implemented in K-12 school districts, hospital systems and businesses.
