Enhanced Laser Sensors
OPTEX has developed new versions of its product firmware and configuration software for its award- winning laser sensor, REDSCAN RLS-3060 series, that brings greater functionality to the existing models. Version 8.0 of the RLS-3060 series firm- ware and REDSCAN Manager feature a number of upgrades for the long-range, 190 degrees 2D Li- DAR series. Both models, the RLS-3060L and RLS 3060SH will offer more flexibility in managing dry contacts with the option to switch from normally open (N.O) to normally closed (N.C).

ASSA ABLOY Electronic Security Hardware and ASSA ABLOY Group brand Adams Rite have an- nounced the release of the HES 9800 and Adams Rite 7800 Electric Strike. The HES 9800/Adams Rite 7800 Series is a low-profile, surface mounted elec- tric strike designed specifically to work with the Ad- ams Rite 8800 & 8700 Series Narrow Stile Rim Exit Devices and the EX88 Interlocking Rim Exit Device. The new HES 9800/Adams Rite 7800 easily electri- fies openings on aluminum storefronts, perimeter doors and high-occupancy facilities, and provides an electrification option for the Adams Rite EX88.

Night Color Technology Cameras
Dahua Night Color Technology cameras use a high-performance sensor and ISP and an achro- matic, large aperture lens (F1.0) to produce crisp, clear color images in low-light environments. This light-sensitive technology allows the camera to re- main in Color Mode and to capture more available light to reproduce color images with superior detail and contrast. Night Color Technology cameras are recommended for applications where saturated, full-color images are produced in very low ambient light applications.

Genetec Inc. has a new line of off-the-shelf ana- lytics appliances within its Streamvault portfolio. Designed to analyze more camera streams per unit than traditional security appliances, the devices come pre-loaded with Genetec Security Center and unified analytics modules, reducing the cost and time required to deploy video analytics. The new Streamvault analytics appliances come in two ver- sions: Model SVA-100, a compact unit ideally suited for retail and banking customers, and model SVA- 1000E, a rackmount unit designed for customers with high camera counts.
