Johnson Controls announced the latest version of the victor and VideoEdge flagship video manage- ment solution (VMS). This release features an array of tools to improve analytic reporting, and streamline device and user management across multi-location installations. The victor client on VideoEdge hard- ware platforms allows users to leverage high-per- formance video streaming, audio, video intelligence and an expansive feature set for improved real-time command and management. This release presents firmware and software management that reduces the time and complexity associated with managing updates across enterprise deployments of Illustra cameras and VideoEdge recorders.

Seamless Two-Way IP Communication
Bosch introduced the B444 Conettix 4G LTE plug- in cellular communicator, which enables seamless two-way IP communication over the Verizon 4G LTE cellular network in the United States. The B444 plugs into compatible Bosch products, including the B/G Series Control Panels, B465 Universal Dual Path Communicator, and the B450 Plug-in Communica- tor. Cellular communication is a reliable alternative to the standard telephone infrastructure and enables end users to eliminate expenses associated with up to two dedicated phone line connections per control panel, resulting in a lower total cost of ownership for alarm systems.

Outdoor Noise Monitoring
NoiseAware has announced its latest product line: Gen 3. The new line consists of indoor and outdoor sensors, as well as an expanded feature offering to provide full-property noise monitoring. Gen 3 is the first of its kind, bringing NoiseAware’s indoor pro- tection outdoors with a weatherproof device. The monitoring system has two components: a plug-and- play sensor and an app. The hardware is placed in key activity zones where people naturally gather to monitor noise levels. NoiseAware monitors decibel levels in rental properties yet records nothing. Gen 3 discreetly monitors decibel levels to identify when noise becomes disruptive for more than five minutes.
