LiDAR Sensor
Cepton Technologies, Inc., provider of 3D sens- ing solutions, announced that it has partnered with Clearpath Robotics, a global provider of mobile robots for research and development. The part- nership extends the availability of Cepton’s HR80 Series LiDAR sensors to Clearpath Robotics’ online store. The benefits of Cepton’s LiDAR offerings set them apart—micro-motion technology removes expensive, ungainly spinning parts common in tra- ditional LiDAR units, resulting in smaller and more reliable sensors that do not compromise on resolu- tion or range. The HR80T has a detection range of beyond 200 meters, 80 lines of vertical resolution and better than 0.2-degree angular resolution in both horizontal and vertical directions.
