West, I received an email from Jake and his family have championed for Noel Glacer, CEO and Founder, change since the tragic events unfolded, join-
Security Division of Recruit Group, inform- ing his classmates in Tallahassee to speak with ing me that he and his son Jake, a survivor of politicians, continuously meeting with secu-
the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting where 17 people died, would be attending the trade show in Las Vegas, Nev.

rity consultants and manufacturers and attending the Broward Country School Secu- rity meetings.
Their end goal is to see security companies, manufactures, integrators and consultants come together to create packages of campus security products that address school safety from a holistic standpoint. It is an ambitious goal, to say the least, but if it all comes togeth- er in the way that the Glacers envision, it will be revolutionary.
If there’s one thing to take away from this month’s cover story, it’s this: Jake is an abso- lutely amazing teenager who has taken a trag- ic incident and turned it into motivation for change. I know his family is proud. We all ought to be.
