G2 Visual Alerts Desktop and Android applications display visual messages on the screen of your PC, MAC, Chromebook or Interactive Flat Panel. Announcements and Alert messages have never been easier. A simple application is installed on the device. The application is then registered with the school’s cloud hosted G2 Visual Alert server. Once registered, the desktop or Android ap- plication actively waits to receive a message from the server. When a message is sent from the server, the Visual Alert application window appears on the screen atop all other windows and will remain until it is closed by the user or the Alert/Announcement is terminated. G2 Vi- sual Alerts software may be used in the event of a Lockout, Lockdown or Shelter in Place notifications. Custom text and images may be added by the school as needed.
