Once registered, the desktop or Android ap- plication actively waits to receive a message from the server. When a message is sent from the server, the Visual Alert application window appears on the screen atop all other windows and will remain until it is closed by the user or the Alert/Announcement is terminated. G2 Vi- sual Alerts software may be used in the event of a Lockout, Lockdown or Shelter in Place notifications. Custom text and images may be added by the school as needed.
