■ Pure SafetyTM, based in Houston, re- cently announced it has acquired two fall protection brands: Guardian Fall Protec- tion and Web Devices. Pure Safety, formed as a global holding company to provide products and training for those working at height, announced the acquisitions in August 2017 and said it is “positioned to be the industry’s largest independent manu- facturer solely focused on fall protection.”
■ SiteHawk LLC (www.sitehawk.com, Smyrna, Tenn.), which provides chemical data intelligence and compliance solutions, announced a new strategic partnership with Enablon, a provider of sustainability, EHS, and operational risk management software. “Enablon has been leading our industry with crucial and effective tools to help EH&S leaders navigate the waters of an ever-changing business environment,” said Ernie Connon, CEO of SiteHawk. “Our partnership with Enablon provides access to SiteHawk’s data throughout a net- work of powerful EH&S resources within the Enablon platform.”
Enablon is a Wolters Kluwer business with global headquarters in Paris and North American headquarters in Chicago. “Solving complex compliance challenges requires not just great technology or ser- vices, but also the right expertise,” said Phil Tesler, president and Co-CEO of Enablon. “We are proud to have the strongest partner network in the industry to do so. ■ Matrix World Group Chile recently launched its first-ever collection of treated flame resistant clothing using fabric from Mount Vernon FR. MWG Chile will of- fer a complete collection of UL-certified products, including shirts, pants, coveralls, and jackets. “This collaboration enables us to combine our shared dedication to in- novation and customer satisfaction,” said Mike Woods, vice president of FR fabrics
Cincinnati-based EXAIR Corporation recently launched its new EXAIR.com website, calling it “the new digital home of Intelligent Compressed Air products for industry.” The new website has improved the company’s product selection process by providing descriptions immediately from the homepage, and its improved ac- count management and ordering process streamlines access to historical orders, al- lows one-click repeat orders, and eases ed- iting of users’ information. The site is fully responsive to provide a consistent experi- ence whether using a PC, tablet, or smart- phone. . . . DSM announced that Olivier Janin joined the company effective Sept. 1 as vice president of marking and sales for DSM Dyneema. He becomes a member of the DSM Dyneema Strategic Leadership Team and reports to Golnar Motahari Pour, Dyneema’s president. Janin had pre- viously been executive director of chemical sales in Europe for Saudi Arabia Basic In- dustries Corp. (SABIC), and prior to join- ing that company in 2007 worked for GE Plastics and Imperial Chemical Industries plc, according to Dyneema. . . . Beginning in June, Red Wing Shoe Company has been building an extensive collection of the stories behind its customers’ boots at www. redwingamericaworking.com and featuring them on a “Wall of Honor” at its flagship
store in Red Wing, Minn. The wall displays printed customers’ stories alongside the boots they wore. Chief Marketing Officer Dave Schneider came up with the idea
for Mount Vernon FR. “We’re honored to work with MWG to provide consumers across the globe with access to durable, high-performing, flame-resistant garments made from Mount Vernon FR fabrics.”
■ U.S. Preventive Medicine (www. uspm.com), a Jacksonville-based company that combines wellness programs with health coaching and care management, has partnered with UL EHS Sustainability (https://www.ulehssustainability.com/) to integrate its wellness solutions into UL’s PURETM software platform. The agreement will increase the services UL provides to employee health and occupational medi- cine customers by delivering USPM’s prod- ucts, services, and expertise.
