In North America, Ansell tests its gloves to the ASTM with 3 glove exposures: considered by Ansell to
be more realistic than the ASTM F1358). Gloves are resistance if they have less and failing if the after heat-resistant gloves are tested against the EN407 standard in Europe and Brazil, and the ratings can provide more information.
