TRU-Balance 4 Power Positioning Systems offer enhanced features, such as positional feedback actuators and anterior tilt, to further provide functional benefits to people who use power chairs. TRU-Balance 4 will
be available at launch on Quantum’s Stretto, Edge 3 and 4Front 2 power wheelchair bases. TRU-Balance 4 provides several features and benefits, including increasing the user’s visual field, more efficient and safer transfers, and increased access to one’s environment. And TRU-Balance 4 enhances a person’s ability and the ease of performing activities of daily living, such as cooking, doing laundry, and reaching a cabinet.

ADI Backrests
ADI backs are ergonomically designed
to ease the strain on a wheelchair rider’s lower back by more equally distributing forces through the pelvic base of support. Choose from carbon fiber or aluminum for superior strength without adding unneeded weight. A Coolcore technology cover comes standard. Backs are available from 10" to 20" wide and with heights ranging from low to extra tall. Choose active, deep, or extra deep contouring, based on the rider’s need for support. Multiple hardware choices, including a quick-release option, are also available to create a fine-tuned system of support.

The high-performance Respira line of backrests provides passive ventilation through the padding and the cover, with optional active ventilation achieved with a lithium-ion fan. Respira backs are avail-
able with perforated gel memory foam or Stimulite padding, and backrest covers use silver thread to combat fungi, bacteria and viruses. Available in Sport, Active Ventilation, and Comfort styles, with fixed adjustable
or quick-release mounting options. Medial upper-body support swing-away hard-
