Permobil Launches Unified
Web Site, New Brand Promise
Permobil has updated its brand promise, announced new core values, and unveiled a new, unified Web site.
In a March news announcement, the manufacturer of Complex Rehab power wheelchairs, ultralightweight manual chairs, and seating said its new core values are User First, Trusted, Leading, and Passionate.
Chuck Witkowski, President of Permobil Americas,
said, in the announcement, “I’m proud to be part of
a passionate team that is focused on providing the absolute highest quality assistive solutions for individuals. Our new brand promise and values reflect perfectly who we are, who we have always been, and what we stand for: Innovating for Individuals. This focus is reflected in all we do, including industry-first mobility solutions like the Explorer Mini for children as young as 12 months old, and the world’s first truly connected power wheelchair with
the technology of MyPermobil. Our solutions are devel- oped to provide the highest quality and lowest downtime in the industry.”
The announcement said the unified Web site would “better meet the needs of a global market” and that it “unites all the Web sites from different regions under one simple address [permobil.com]. The Web site showcases the company’s advantages and competitive strengths with some of the top names in Complex Rehab.”
“Our customers know us in a number of different ways,” Witkowski added. “Our Permobil, TiLite, ROHO, Comfort, and SmartDrive brands will continue to provide key complex rehab solutions for individuals. As we move forward together, we are uniting these separate brands under the singular global brand of Permobil. Their names and long-standing legacies will live on incorporated into their product brand names.”
Bengt Thorsson, Permobil’s CEO, said of the changes, “Our users have the right to hardware, services, and connectivity of the same standards as they meet in other areas of their everyday lives. We develop personalized assistive solutions tailored to meet the user’s day-to-day reality, and offer increased function with hardware, accessories, and connectivity.
“This raises the expectations on future products,
and we are prepared to fulfill them with the combined passion for our users and the possibilities that digitaliza- tion and Artificial Intelligence create. We’re excited to see where this new decade takes us, in terms of developing technology and applying it to the benefit of our end users.”
The new site retains Permobil’s popular education guides, product brochures and manuals, and links to the Permobil Foundation site. m
