The tilting feature of the Raz-AT600 allows for safer transfers.
Transfers onto a non-tilting chair, can result in the client being perched on the front edge of the seat, a potentially dangerous situation. This can be avoided by using a pre-tilted AT600. The tilted surface also facilitates repositioning.
