CG Air
Thanks to material and manufacturing innovations, the CG Air is a reinvention of the air cushion. It’s addressed hygiene issues, as well as concerns over stability, maintenance and positioning, without compromising on pressure management. The CG Air allows more air to move underneath the user in
a smoother, more controlled flow to help
to stimulate blood circulation. Air cells are made of medical-grade PVC, which offers stability so cells retain their shape without cushion splaying. The CG Air promotes true immersion while actively creating an ischial well to stabilize the pelvis and prevent unwanted pelvic rotation.

SofTech
The SofTech cushion is an automatic thera- peutic cushion purpose built to both prevent and treat existing pressure injuries. All system components are integrated into the cushion so there is no separate controller. The SofTech features Bluetooth wireless technology and three firmness selections. The cushion changes pressure distribution 60 times per hour. This automatic action replaces manual pressure lifts, which are essential for the prevention of pressure injuries. Each cushion is custom made per the specific needs of the client and includes offloading directly under an existing pres- sure injury to facilitate healing.

Axiom SP Visco
The SP Visco cushion provides increased immersion via viscoelastic foam (instead of the Hydrolite fluid bladder in Ki’s Axiom SP Fluid cushion). Viscoelastic material deforms and returns to shape very slowly: Because energy is effectively absorbed and dissipated during the time lag, there is less reaction force pushing back after deformation. The Axiom SP Visco allows trochanters to bear
an effective load, thus improving stability by widening the base of support and reducing the load that tissues supporting ischial tuberosities (ITs) have to bear. The visco foam insert features a hexagonal pattern to reduce compression around ITs and coccyx.

Matrx PSP
The Invacare Matrx PSP (Posture Seat Polymer) is coded E2607 and includes a molded-in polymer layer for shear reduction and skin protection. The PSP features unique waffled ischial relief and anatomically contoured HR foam with Ultra-Fresh anti-mi- crobial and odor protection. The cushion includes such Matrx signature features as
a rear cushion radius and a waterfall front edge. It’s ultralightweight at 2 lbs. and up, with a reversible Startex outer over and a zippered Startex inner cover. Options include a pelvic obliquity kit, a cushion rigidizer, and leg-length discrepancy cuts. The PSP has a 300-lb. weight capacity.

Protekt O2
Designed to prevent or treat existing pressure injuries, the Protekt O2 cushion
line features adjustable 2"- or 4"-high air cells that provide deep immersion and excellent pressure redistribution. Dual-
valve compartments address situations including pelvic obliquities and sacral sitting. Compartments can be independently adjusted for positioning and stability. The flame-resistant, Neoprene cushion includes an easy-to-use, hand-held inflation pump; a patch kit; and a nylon, breathable cover with a non-skid bottom and safety straps. The cushion (E2624/E2625) has a weight capacity of 500 lbs.
