As Seen at the Cure SMA Conference: The R82 Quokka car seat can be used for forward- or rear-facing situations and is designed to accommodate kids in Spica casts who weigh 5 to 39.6 lbs. and are up to 41" in height. A positioning wedge helps to ensure the child is fully supported, while the sides of the Quokka — named after
a particularly photogenic marsupial from Australia — are specially formed to fit legs that are in casts or in braces.
