For example, 100 percent of survey respondents said they agree or strongly agree that they “have an improved understanding of the company vision and goals.”
And 99 percent agreed or strongly agreed that NSM “is making progress toward the goal of being ‘employer of choice’ in the CRT industry,” while
99.56 percent agreed or strongly agreed that the symposium had them “feeling positive about the direction of the company.”
“From the perspective of culture and tone, it was our best sympo- sium ever,” Mixon said. “We got overwhelmingly positive feedback. People said, ‘This was the best meeting we’ve ever been to.’ We got that from the ATPs, and we got that from the manufacturers.”
Leadership Principles
The symposium was held Feb. 7-10, with clinical and technology educa- tion being a high priority.
“We want to set the tone for the year,” Mixon said. “We want to talk about mission, vision, values. We want to talk about the good things we’re doing in the business, but we also are enabling our ATPs to get their continuing education [at the event] because we believe that’s an important aspect of the profession- alism that the ATP moniker brings to our industry.
“We believe it is our obligation as one of the leading providers in the country to invest in our employees, to invest in continuing education so when they go back to their
local branches, they can focus on leadership, and they can focus on
