OUR PICTORIAL COMPARISON OF ACCESSIBILITY TECHNOLOGY
Professionals in the seating and wheeled mobility segment aim for optimal independence for their clients. But those pros also know that the seating system and the wheelchair frame or power base are part of a larger equation. To attain true independence, wheel- chair users need an environment that is inclusive and welcoming. So this Accessibility Comparo takes a closer look at the product categories that facilitate consumer participation and inclusion in a range of different environments and activities. For this story, we invited manufacturers of bath hygiene systems, pool lifts and ramps to self-report specifications and sizing for their products.
