COMPANY PROFILE
Thomashilfen North America
Translated from German, Thomashilfen means “Thomas Helps.” We continuously strive to deliver excellence in care, service and rehabilitation.
It began with Karl Thomas,
who set up his own carpentry
business in 1935 in Northern
Germany, starting with
mattresses for people with
special needs. We proudly
remain a family-owned business with an expanded product line, including pediatric mobility and positioning equipment. Based in Seattle, the friendly and dedicated Thomashilfen North America staff offers sales, service, fast delivery and technical support to our U.S. customers.
Today, Thomashilfen specializes in Thevo mattresses for a variety of conditions, including general aches and pains, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s/ dementia, pressure ulcers, wheelchair use, and for children with special needs.
We expanded to pediatric products with the highest quality for mobility/ positioning and safety in mind. From our stroller-style wheelchairs — including EASyS Advantage, EASyS Modular, ThevoTwist and Swifty — to our tRide, Thomashilfen designs products for children with moderate to complex medical and positioning needs.
