JAY J3 HV Back
We can’t control the weather, but JAY’s new J3 HV back can influence a wheelchair user’s all-important microclimate. The J3 HV back can provide warmth or cooling at the flip of a switch. Internal thermal technology includes evaporative cooling to dissipate moisture and pull it away from the body. A recharge- able battery provides at least eight hours
of continuous use, and indicator lights tell a wheelchair user if heat (red) or cooling (blue) is currently on. An automatic shut-off feature is incorporated for additional safety. A micro- climatic cover features wicking material
and a layer of 3DX space fabric to promote airflow and dissipate heat/moisture.
