FirstNet: Empowering Federal Operations
THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT FOR FIRSTNET, the only nationwide network designed specifically for public safety. But the question remains: how can federal users benefit from FirstNet? To gain some perspective on how the platform is evolving, we sought the expertise of Chris Algiere, director of federal and national programs at the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet Authority), which has oversight for FirstNet; and Rob Patterson, AT&T senior director for public safety solutions and a former Administrator for the Drug Enforcement Administration.
