Use acoustic signatures, radio frequency transmissions and cameras to spot drones.

Protects against actively piloted UAVs but not those preprogrammed to follow GPS waypoints.

The Maldrone code has been successfully delivered via Wi-Fi.

Israel’s “Iron Dome” defense system has shot down UAVs.

Effective and readily available — but not practical for many locations.
