Synchronized Timekeeping Solution

26,000 students. To keep students, faculty and staff on time, it relied on a wired clock system that was installed years ago when the campus was one-third the size of what
it is today. With the expanded acreage and additional buildings, the college did not have consistent or accurate synchronized time.
Without clocks that displayed the same precise time, meetings and classes often started at varying times. Or participants would unknowingly arrive too late or too early. Saddleback College sought a syn- chronized timekeeping solution that would keep every clock in every building on the exact same time — down to the second.
The school selected the American Time SiteSync IQ wireless clock system using CDMA (code division multiple access) to

EXAS CHRISTIAN University (TCU) in Fort Worth doesn’t
just have school spirit — it
bleeds purple.
The color is everywhere on campus —
in dorms, academic buildings, on fan gear, and especially all over the newly renovated sports facility. Home to the nationally ranked College World Series Horned Frogs, TCU’s new Baseball Clubhouse features custom color Powerbond® installed throughout. It surrounds players and fans with Purple Pride as they gather to cel- ebrate wins and mourn (rare) losses — all while standing up beautifully to a team’s worth of daily cleat abuse.

Saddleback College’s synchronized timekeeping solution can wirelessly syn- chronize and control any device with a sig- nal circuit. The CDMA sync option allows SiteSync IQ to receive a time signal from
a nearby cell phone tower, so there is no outside cable or wire installation needed. Saddleback College has guaranteed signal coverage with one transmitter, 100 percent FCC compliance, and pinpoint accuracy to NIST, the official world time. The school now has approximately 450 American Time clocks across campus.
“We have one signal that feeds the en- tire campus and our campus is very hilly. But we’ve never had an issue with any- thing,” says Jerry Doolittle, lead electrician at Saddleback College. “The clocks keep up
as TCU. It has amassed a virtual shelf full of trophies regarding environmental per- formance, from third-party certification and recycled content to the fact that it’s 100 percent recyclable. Plus, it supports
a healthier indoor environment with low VOC emissions, no antimicrobials, ther- mal barrier and acoustical enhancements.
Even more, Powerbond can save you time and money. When installing Pow- erbond Cushion using Tandus Centiva’s #54 Seam Weld or C-XL Water Based Seam Sealer, moisture vapor emission rate (MVER) testing or relative humid- ity (RH) testing are not required if no free liquids are present and no stained concrete is evident.
Powerbond has proved time and again it can stand the test of time, as it remains in place decades after installation and
